Little Forgotten Friends

Louie is a sweet and loyal 2 year old chi mix.  He, gets along with cats , dogs and will willingly follow his human everywhere.  Louie would do best in a home with a yard that he can stretch his legs and run, he isnt high eneergy but a back yard would do well for him for some excersise.  He will bark at people when he first meets thems them due to fear but, once he realizes you are "good" then he will befriend you.  As nervous as he may be when first meeting people, he has never tried to bite or snap! Who ever adopts Louie has to be willing to share their bed with him!!!!!!! Louie's adoption fee is $250.00

It comes as no surprise that Bud has been here for quite some time.  He is a senior boy who is completely blind.  yet all  in all, Bud has spirit beyond what most will ever understand.  He never gets mad at anybody, he is always sweet  and would be a great companion for somebody who wanted a little friend.  Buds adoption fee is $150.00

Ethel is estimated to be about 10 years old. She is a quiet gal who asks for nothing.  She sleeps for quite a bit throughout the day but always gets happy at dinner time!  Her adoption fee is $150.oo

 gee, how do I begin to tell you about Benzie.  He is a senior chi boy who walks on the part of his leg that we would consider his wrist, we believe this to be a genetic problem that he has had since he was a baby.  He also has some problems with his eyes that we are using drops for.  He loves people but can be a bit cranky if overwhelmed by other dogs.  Benzies adoption fee is $150.00

ok...........this is just Ridiculous!!!!  Dudette is now here for OVER 1 YEAR with only 2 unsuccessful inquiries, I realize she is not the poster child puppy but can ANYBODY help her out and give up a tiny spot in their heart and living room......??????????!!! Dudette is about 7 years old and was pulled from the NYC shelter.  She arrived here extremely frightened and was not very quick to make friends with me.....a few days had passed and this little girl blossomed into a sweet, loveable and devoted shadow.  She cant get enough of me, gets along with the other dogs and zips around the house like she owns it.  I dont know what her past history is but, her future deserves to be filled with somebody who loves attention and will be patient to give her a few days to adjust., she has a bit of a "cat like" personality...adoption fee for Dudette is $150.00

Gina is an 8 year old pomeranian girl who has a bit of a "cat like" personality.  She will come to you for attention but, when she has had enough you need to let her be.  She will occasionally snip if she is "coddled" for to long.  She will follow you everywhere but love and kisses are on HER terms :o) she also LOVES to go for long walks....she would do best in a home with no children.

Peluche is a gorgeous male pekingese, a bit large for his breed.  He is estimated to be 2-3 years old.  He is a very happy guy , not yappy and loves to be loved!!!  one other dog would be fine, preferably small(he's not a fan of large dogs)...also, not sure how he would do with cats?

ShayShay  is about 8 years old, she is a pekingese who was surrendered by her owner....she is a quiet girl, moves rather slowly, she would do best in a home with maybe 1 other dog.  She has a bit of arthritis which she is taking some supplemnts for.  Please findit in your heart to adopt an adult.....Her adoption fee is $125.00

here is Diamonds story...............Diamond entered my rescue at 9 weeks of age, she was the most adorable little bundle you could meet and she was quickly adopted, how could she not be since she was irresistable.  I contacted the owner a few times to check in and they LOVED her, they couldnt say enough wodnerful things about her, she was loving, adored their 5 year old daughter that was best friends with her and the praise just went on and on......about 6 months later I receive a a message from my staff saying Diamonds owner called and that I need to call her back ASAP,or she's taking THIS DOG to the shelter.  So, of course I called only to hear the most horrid things about Diamond...the owner told me she was a non stop barker, peed all over the house, was destructive and she wanted her out NOW or she would take her to the shelter.....the very next day the owner sent her husband here to drop off Diamond, he started to tell me stories about her and to be honest, I cut him off because I really didnt wanna hear his line of sh*t........so, in the house we went and I thought to myself, ok lets see what kind of monster this dog has turned into now that she is about 8 months old......I have had Diamond for 2 months, I have held her to see if her "TRUE COLORS" would appear over the course of time.....here's my conclusion.....Diamonds owner was the typical, OMG what a cute puppy person...she forgot that they GROW UP!!!!  as soon as Diamond was bigger in size, she had no use for her and couldnt be bothered....honestly I am really ticked about the whole situation, how DARE somebody adopt one of MY DOGS then lie and tell me how horrible they turned out....even if the dog WAS horrible....SHE RAISED HER, so who's fault would that be............now for the TRUTH about Diamond.....Diamond is a sweet, loving precious Ratt Terrier, she adores all her doggie friends here, she has yet to meet a dog she hasnt loved, she sleeps with me on my bed each night with the other dogs, her best friend is my chihuahua Biggie who INSISTS on cleaning her ears religously, she LOVES to run in the yard and she is lightening fast.....she uses the weewee pads in the house if she doesnt go potty outside(occasional accidents).....I have NOTHING bad to say about Diamond other then "I'm Sorry" for making a bad judgement call and placing her in the hands and home of an IDIOT!!!!.and If her previous owner reads this.YES I called you an IDIOT!!!!..........so, if anybody needs a great pal for themselves or their dog, you will just adore Diamond( I am truly hoping for a home with mulit dogs :O)
