Little Forgotten Friends

 One of the main questions you all will have is HOW MUCH?  I can tell you ALOT!  It will ALWAYS cost you alot for a dog because dogs arent cheap, in fact they are rather expensive and more of a luxury.  Vet fees can be very pricey, grooming is not cheap either, good food is not cheap and when your dogs begin to enter their "golden years".....I CAN PROMISE YOU, this will DEFINATELY NOT BE CHEAP!!!  This is why our adoption fees are set accordingly, it is NOT CHEAP to hospice dogs, sure I can probaly lower my fees a bit but, that would require , not getting the dogs groomed on a regular basis, not  vetting any dog that requires medical attention, not feeding THE BEST diet on the market, not going to the holistic vet when conventional medicine can no longer help a dying dog, not having the dogs in a clean enviornment and the list goes on.  I will not lower my standards for caring for these dogs so that people can "get a deal", I dont know how to "skimp" on caring for animals, I know only how to give them the VERY BEST, after all most of these dogs will never have a home of their own and being in this rescue is the best they will ever have so, why not make it WONDERFUL for them as they gracefully grow old.  Without the puppies we could never provide proper care for our dogs unfortunatley, with the economy crashing, dontations are at a hault and people rarely want to adopt ANY adults because they are affraid of starting off with hugh vet bills so, most will want puppies.  So, isnt it a lovely thought to know that the cute little adorable fluffy puppy you just adopted gave a good life to the dog here that nobody asked about, the dog that is here dying because their previous owners couldnt be bothered any longer.  Your puppies adoption fee makes MIRACLES happen for the dogs that the world has left behind and when you get a puppy from LFF, you should leave here feeling GOOD and knowing that YOU saved many lives here....could you ask for anything better then that?  You dont "pay" for your new puppy here, you donate towards the care and well being for ALL THE ANIMALS here, the ones that you couldnt emotionally bare to adopt or dont have the time to care for so, our philosophy is.....ok, you get the nice little puppy, we will stay here 24 hours around the clock caring for old dogs, we will take the heart break of burying 10 dogs in a month, 2 dogs in a week but PLEASE, help us to do this through your adoption fee!
